David Swift
David has performed in many lead and supporting roles within the local non professional theatre scene over the last 20 years. This includes many profit share productions since 2015, with a number of lead roles in both new work and established plays.
His most recent roles are: Iago In ‘Othello’; Karl Hendryk in Agatha Christie’s ‘Verdict’ and Bill Naughton in ‘Obituary On A Postcard.
David has regularly worked as a supporting artist in TV and film since 2008 in programmes such as: Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Peaky Blinders, Shameless, Waterloo Road, Scott and Bailey, Appropriate Adult, DCI Banks and Mrs Biggs.
He also filmed on the first new Sherlock Holmes movie, Macbeth, Testament of Youth, the new versions of Dad’s Army, Frankenstein and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
David goes to watch many plays and shows every year but as director of Bravo, he is also keen to develop his experience and knowledge in the production and technical side of theatre alongside acting.
