29/12/2015: Preparations for ‘Curtain Up On Murder’ continued apace with 2 rehearsals over the Christmas holiday period.

20/12/2015: The cast of ‘Curtain Up On Murder’ finish blocking the scenes and celebrate with a ‘bit of a do’!

10/11/2015: Initial work on Bravo’s next production, ‘Curtain Up On Murder’ begins.

20/10/2015: Tickets for Bravo’s next production, ‘Curtain Up On Murder’, go ON SALE.

08/10/2015: The cast for Bravo’s next production, ‘Curtain Up On Murder’ has been confirmed and the performance rights secured. The play will be performed in the first week of February 2016.

05/10/2015: The second round of auditions for Bravo’s next production took place.

29/09/2015: The first round of auditions for Bravo’s next production took place.

15/08/2015: After performances on the Friday and Saturday, Bravo’s second production had gone down well with the audiences being transported back to 1895. Onward and upward to the next show!

13/08/2015: The first performance of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ took place and a sizable audience clearly enjoyed the play.

12/08/2015: The ‘get in’ for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was a long, tough but very worthwhile day, and all is now ready for the performances.

10/08/2015: The cast and crew had use of the performance venue for an extra evening in order to familiarise themselves with the space. A full run in dress also took place.

09/08/2015: There has been an intensive schedule of rehearsals as the cast and crew have worked really well to bring together ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’

19/07/2015: The remaining parts of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ have now been blocked and the actors are working hard on their lines and characters.

14/07/2015: The tickets for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ go on sale!

12/07/2015: Some of Act 2 of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was blocked and there was another opportunity for cast members present to try on their costumes.

10/07/2015: More of Act 2 of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was blocked and there was the first opportunity for cast members present to try on their costumes!

05/07/2015: Some of Act 2 of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was blocked during a session which had to be brought indoors because of the inclement weather!

03/07/2015: An informal session took place focusing on understanding aspects of Act 1, including the social, historical and political background along with further discussion about the characters of the play.

29/06/2015: Most of Act 1 of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was blocked during an intensive but very enjoyable session.

24/06/2015: The first full rehearsal for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ took place and it was an excellent start to our work on this classic play.

16/06/2015: The second read through for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was held in central Manchester.

10/06/2015: The initial read through for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ was held at David and Jenny’s house.

08/06/2015: The second round of auditions for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ took place and the full cast was announced.

01/06/2015: The initial auditions for ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ took place. The full cast will be announced very soon after the second round of auditions on June 8th; some people who had expressed interest in trying for roles were unable to attend.

18/05/2015: After some lengthy discussions with new creative partners, Bravo is delighted to announce that its next production will be a version of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ by Oscar Wilde, based on the original text.
